Jeff Tweedy (born 1967) is an American singer-songwriter best known as the frontman of Wilco and a co-founder of Uncle Tupelo. He has released solo material and authored the memoir Let's Go (So We Can Get Back).

From reviews: his autobiography discusses vulnerability, family (including his wife's repeated tumors and rebuilt relationships with his children), past addiction to psychotropic drugs and alcohol, his origins in Illinois and Chicago, the history of Uncle Tupelo and Wilco, experimentation across albums, and an anti-rockstar persona. Publicly verifiable: longtime leader of Wilco, former member of Uncle Tupelo, solo artist and author.

Reviews portray Jeff Tweedy's autobiography as candid, self-ironic and vulnerable. Themes include addiction, family, songwriting, and Wilco's anti-label stance. The overall appraisal is thoughtful and mildly positive.

For:Fans of Wilco and alternative/alt-country music; readers of music autobiographies; those interested in songwriting and musician life stories.

I wanted to write about, and understand, and share the part of me that has always been able to be vulnerable.
