Paris Hilton (the 2000s porn star) meets Max Headroom (the big head from the 80s) and together they compose the soundtrack of "Second Reality" (the famous assembly demo from the 90s). Here's the new album by Jean Michel Jarre. No no, no no … it's not a mess!

I remember that demo by Future Crew running on my 486 (equipped with the Gravis Ultrasound) as one of the greatest computing events I can recall, and let's be clear, I've dreamed of a fling with Paris more than once (maybe also to snag a voucher at her dad's Hotels), and today's television should debut with more ideas like Max Headroom's entrance (and do you remember "Buzz" on Italia 1?).. But we were talking about Jean Michel Jarre. Really, really ridiculously good-looking, we'll let Derek Zoolander say, the years of "Oxygene" and so on have passed blah blah… seasons aren't what they used to be, and the lack of inspiration, and Michael Jackson won't be the King of Pop again and did Madonna really have to crucify herself during her concerts? We can discuss all these things in the comments.

I like this album because it flows quickly, it's fun, it has definitely catchy and well-paced beats and it doesn't bore by trying to claim to be the new Daft Punk/Mirwais/etc., etc., from the French school, which Rinôçérôse (great job!) has already taken care of. Credit also goes to the fact that this new (yeah, right) Jarre does not reproduce his classic repertoire reworked in Mike Oldfield style with his "Annyversary Platinum Limited Luxurious Unplugged 7U8Ul4R 8ell" that would even turn away the last fans who survived the recent concert in Morocco.

I'll end with some buts, and ifs, and maybes, and yet. Somewhat sleazy is the erotic aspect of this album which includes simulated orgasm noises and some fucks here and there. I like the return to the "concept" where each track revisits and proposes the previous or the next one, telling the alleged stories of Téo & Téa (at this point only a short film in the style of Interstella 5555 is missing) but I really miss the transitions between tracks replaced by the more classic seconds of silence.
