The album is not yet available to the general public; it will only be in September... but those who can't wait can always make a trip to the VIP CLUB in Paris, on the Champs Elysees, and buy the promo at the modest price of 30 euros...

Yes, because this "project" by Jean Michel Jarre is actually an album "dedicated" to this venue... a side project in lounge music that, as usual, will disappoint Jarre's purists... but never mind...

First of all, I would like to point out that, if you rotate the album cover 90 degrees clockwise, you can see (with a bit of imagination) the most intimate part of the splendid actress Isabella Adjani, Jarre's new flame.
At the album's premiere on July 10th, Jean Michel was wandering around the VIP CLUB with a digital camera, asking more or less unknown young ladies to pose and show off nude parts of their bodies to the camera.
The photos, pixelated by an artist named ORA ITO, will be part of the album's booklet when it hits the stores.

The album is an impeccable production. Technically, you can hear complex movements and soundscapes... after all, Jarre is still Jarre, with all his extensive experience... however, it leaves a hint of... how to say... "But is this really Jarre?"... after all, we have been spoiled by far superior work, we have been very well taken care of by Jarre... and hearing a track only on the acoustic piano... well, it took me a while to digest it.

You'd be tempted to tell him... "Hey buddy, look, ProoTools isn't a musical instrument with which to rip, loop, and mix an entire album," but it seems that, after so many years, even Jarre himself doesn't want to know anything about sequencers, analog organs, Minipops, ARPs, and hundreds of MIDI cables and devices triggering each other... it's a shame... but the world moves on, and so does music.
So, putting aside the prejudice about the author, my judgment is that this album can be greatly appreciated, not so much for making love with its rhythm in the background, but for the before or after.
