Jan Johansson (1931–1968) was a Swedish jazz pianist renowned for merging Nordic folk melodies with jazz in intimate piano–bass settings. Best known for Jazz på svenska and Jazz på ryska, he brought lyrical restraint and classical poise to Scandinavian jazz.
