THE REVIEW

Indolence reigns supreme over me. It circulates through my body and devastates all the mechanisms of the mind. Everything becomes dreamlike, reality is imperceptible. No, I'm not describing a trip with LSD or some other stuff... I'm just trying to transform emotions into words. It's not simple.

Why does this seem to be My album? I'm not quite sure and I'm still thinking about it intensely. Perhaps because J resembles me a lot, and it may not be a good thing. In fact, it certainly isn't. However, I believe it's the truth. Who loves being left in peace like me? Who is grumpy and sometimes careless like myself? Perhaps only good old Joseph, for friends, J. (then many will call him by his full name)...

But now let's get to the real reason why I'm here... I found myself alone in a dark, unknown, and hostile place. I won't tell you more, I don't consider it important. I just know that the cold penetrated my veins and never left. The light was rarefied. Unease gently entered my body. I remember having an album in my backpack. I grab it and throw it in the player. It took just a moment to realize I'm not alone. J keeps me company... it's just the two of us now. He's holding an acoustic guitar. It's like the audience isn't even there. There's not even a band. It's not a coincidence... we're in sync. Among similar people, there's understanding.

Ah... then there are the songs too. How could I forget them? A sweet blow to the soul. With that acoustic guitar and the always trembling voice. Hanging by a very thin thread. But equipped with almost unparalleled resilience. I've never been so close to J. I know he's singing for me. That voice is something of mine. This album is not a live performance. This album isn't an album. It's a kind of journey into our weak side. There are no noises to protect everything... Just the listener face to face with their weaknesses... but there's no need to worry. J can be trusted.

"My ambition is to have no ambitions."

It becomes a daunting task not to be moved by hearing a very sparse "not the same."
