Izzy Stradlin (born Jeffrey Dean Isbell) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of Guns N' Roses. After contributing heavily to the band’s classic albums, he left in 1991 and pursued a rootsy solo path, debuting with Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds (1992) and releasing multiple albums through the 2000s.

Co-founder and former rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses; inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2012) with GN'R; noted for roots-rock songwriting and a Keith Richards–tinged rhythm style.

CycoCiccio’s review of 117° paints Stradlin’s second solo album as stripped-down and retro, leaning on country rock and “white” blues colors. It notes covers like Memphis (Chuck Berry) and Up Jump The Devil, semi-acoustic riffs, and the instrumental Surf Roach. Good Enough is credited to the Ju Ju Hounds. Overall, it’s deemed little more than an album for fans, albeit personal and sincere.
