Italian progressive metal band from Rome featuring brothers Michele and Luciano Chessa (guitars) with Andrea Caminiti (bass) and Alex Giuliani (drums); known for the 2003 album D'Incanto and an earlier demo, Libera Mente (2000).

D'Incanto was released in 2003. Their demo CD "Libera Mente" was released in 2000. The review notes guest contributions on D'Incanto: Monica Proietti Tuzia (vocals on "A Piedi Nudi"), Flegias (Necrodeath) on "Isterica Realtà", and Mirco Cicconi (flute) on "Favole". The band worked with Blond Records (Enrico Capuano) for D'Incanto.

A positive review of IV Luna's 2003 album D'Incanto emphasizes strong musicianship, 70s progressive influences and standout tracks such as "Petili Di Cenere". The album is viewed as mature and well-executed despite small drops in tone.

For:Fans of progressive metal, Italian prog and 70s-influenced progressive rock.

The IV Luna were born and grew up in Rome; in a fertile and vibrant musical environment that continues to be preceded by the usual blind and "worldly" foreign influence (who said Metalcore?).
