THE REVIEW

 "And sugar
Bring me sugar
And all the robins bring
Bring me many things
But sugar
Oh sugar
He brings me sugar
As far as I can tell
I've been gone for miles now"

(Tori Amos)

An experience should never be told, it should only be imagined, we were alone once, then Isis arrived (yes, in the Plural).

And we who thought we had experienced everything and imagined everything, it's like waking up in the morning smelling of croissants and warm coffee and not caring for a moment about what will remain of the day, the most intense moment...

Life is known to be layered just like Isis' lasagna, layers of delicious layers, lasagna, ragù, ham, béchamel, and then lasagna again, never was the plural more joyful and then... and then the company... the good wine... JJ Cale, Marilyn Manson, Vincent Gallo and everything joy can contain.

That "we were there" suddenly becomes we were, and little else matters, the jubilation of the messy kitchen is not a sufficient reason for regret.

"The greatest Italian Rock Album is "Exit" by Faus'o"  "Ma va a cagher!"

"The most beautiful album by Zeppelin is "House of the Holy" "Ma vaffanculu va!"

Little remains to be said, as mentioned, an experience should not be told but only lived... and even Poetry.

"This is the hour when the mysteries emerge.
A strangeness so hard to reflect.
A moment so moving, goes straight to your heart,
The vision has never been met.
The attraction is held like a weight deep inside,
Something I'll never forget."

(Ian Curtis)

I’ve managed to digest them, and without even downing the usual bottle of Montenegro. And I was happy as a Pippo, the Sanjuro.

Are they the masterpiece within Iside’s work, or the start of its decline? Too derivative? Can you tell that the cook is already wealthy?
