80s Album
Everyone says that Meiden delivers quality with metal, but I don't think so, or rather, I'm tired of fantasy or sci-fi stuff. I prefer ontologically more valid bands like ACDC or Motorhead, or even, why not? King Crimson, which up to a certain theoretical point of view, were the best.
It depends on the points of view.
Then in society, there are many wild variables that lead to Maiden being considered the best of British or American metal, but my opinion does not agree.
The unifying soul of metal should be the attack on preconceived values and letting ourselves or others go, or at least in the 70s-80s it was like that, but the rest got lost.
Anyway, I don't like the album, I don't find it that good, honestly, I can't find a track that leaves me breathless, saying: damn, that's metal... I don't know.
A society that no longer has values can't have positive metal, it can't tell us that aggression, guitar distortion, or frantic bass are. If the anger is lost, it makes way for pop and farewell to true metal. Farewell.
