THE REVIEW

It is with this EP that Claudio 'Clod' Nigliazzo and Sofia Gallotti made their debut in 2009 under the name Iori's Eyes.

Produced and discovered by Federico Dragogna of the Ministers, this young Milanese duo presents themselves with 4 essential songs characterized by a relatively sparse sound that range between dream pop and minimal electronics. The ethereal voice of Clod perfectly harmonizes with the sound and at times recalls the vocal lines of Jónsi from Sigur Rós.

The effective and non-intrusive production is another strong point of this work, which, among relaxed rhythms and melancholic lyrics, presents innovative sounds for the Italian music scene.
