IO is an Italian author, composer, lyricist, and singer. He conceals his true identity by wearing a mask during his shows, which are much more akin to installations rather than the classic rock cliché. With various experiences as a showrunner in other artistic projects behind him, he released his debut album, iosono.IO, in 2017, which sparked considerable interest, particularly on social media, thanks to his choice to hide his identity and center the entire artistic project solely around the songs—authentic stories that each listener can make their own. SpaceseductIOn is his second album and it's a one-way journey where IO challenges himself in a highly volatile current context, similar to what Humanity as a whole is experiencing. And so, as life on Earth flows relentlessly, a group of people, contemporary antiheroes condemned to never die, prepares to leave the Planet. They are not and will no longer be able to alter its inexorable decline. It is an awareness of the impossibility of narrating our Time, the one in which we live in a sort of parallel timeline filled with boundaries and solitudes. All set to the base of rock with various interpretations. An impeccable concept album.
