Guys, doesn't anyone remember INTERNO 17?
On DeBaser, they're overlooked... let's try to fill this gap.
In 1998, BUBU and his companions released Liquido, which remained (unfortunately) the last work of this Florentine band raised on bread and rock. Since then, "internal" issues within the group first, and then the hesitance of record labels, have prevented the release of a new CD. LIQUIDO is truly intense, never trivial, long to listen to, extremely long to digest... each song is a universe of its own; it ranges from the direct and smashing rock of "Tutti In Cerchio" to the slow, haunting nighttime atmospheres of "Ore Sei" and "Il Senso Delle Cose," from soft and enveloping ballads like "Cosa Amo Io" and "Liquido" to atmospheres where violins and synthesizers prove not to be so far apart.
BUBU's lyrics are wonderful, not so much in those where he launches into ironic social critiques (as in "Pick Man"), but in those where he describes silent suburban nights or admits the necessity of spending some time with himself. Worth noting on the CD is the supervision and participation of the good marquis ANTONIO AIAZZI (former Litfiba keyboardist)... his fluttering fingers leave a mark.
An excellent band, these INTERNO 17, abandoned too soon, remembered too little.
