SAME SHIT, DIFFERENT DAY.
"The good news? The usual stuff: Russia gets pissed off and starts a civil war."
"The bad news? A new recruit..."
"S O A P!" What a freaking name..."
"But he's pretty cool, mmh..."
"CHARLIE DON'T SURF"
"Ramirez, the man we are looking for is Head of State Khaled Al-Asad, who rose to power after the recent coup d'état!"
The operation will start shortly, understood? Over and out."
Call of Duty: hated, trashed, and disparaged for its copy-paste nature year after year. Recently, the teaser for "Black Ops 3" came out, and I have lost hope for good. Call of Duty is DEAD!
But back in 2007, in the world of shooters, this adventure by Infinity Ward was released, the fourth installment of an already famous saga, especially with the second chapter, one of the most played on PC.
The fourth chapter brings the saga to its peak. Charismatic characters, pure adrenaline, arcade mode, fun and fresh gameplay, but most of all...
MULTIPLAYER
An orgy of players shouting and getting pissed at each other on small and intricate maps. Continuous frenzy and good accessibility guarantee fun with friends that lasts for months, maybe years.
2007. And I'm still playing it in 2015. Why? Because it remains THE CoD! No robot dogs, whiny kids, or YouTube gameplay (yes, there's some but just a little...) made by FIFA and COD morons who don't even know what, let's say, God Hand, Shenmue, or other gaming cults are.
Just fooling around and having fun, not a masterpiece, but fooling around, fooling around
F O O L I N G A R O U N D!
The very essence of a video game is fun. The plot, although well developed, is a bit overlooked, but it's impossible to forget the legendary captain Price, or the iconic INTELLIGENCE team led by the super cool Ramirez.
So, no prejudices, and have fun. The ultimate CoD. The best, for all eternity. Amen.
