THE REVIEW

I have never been, surely due to my ignorance, a great admirer of ethnic restaurants. The fear of not knowing exactly the dish you are ordering. Maybe you don’t like it and you end up paying a hefty bill, it leaves you with a certain annoyance.

I am not a stingy person, I couldn't afford such a luxury, usually the stingy have a nice fat wallet and that's not my case at all.

Anyway, this "WITH ENDLESS FIRE" by the Pakistani, and back to the initial discussion, ILYAS AHMED, brought to my mind disastrous ethnic culinary experiences, which I'm not going to narrate here because I realize I’m already off topic.

Anyway, to get to the point, the album from 2012 is the successor to the never-heard GONER from 3 years ago and is an album absolutely worth listening to. A recipe where Western and Eastern flavors blend into a unique dish. Hypnotic, circular music, where different geographical atmospheres merge into a unique musical mix. In the folk textures, we find shoegaze and ambient reminiscences with a background voice that makes everything more dreamlike.

It’s useless to mention a single song because the album could be composed of a single track where different flavors alternate. Anyway, very beautiful.

Anyway, as far as it might interest you, I don’t mind ethnic food as much as it seems.
