English post-rock/alternative band from Leeds, formed in 2004, known for baritone-led narratives, historical themes and cinematic arrangements.

From Leeds; active since 2004; also known as I LIKE TRAINS; fronted by David Martin (baritone vocals). Debut album Elegies to Lessons Learnt (2007) was produced by Ken Thomas.

Blackart’s review of iLiKETRAiNS’ debut Elegies to Lessons Learnt frames the Leeds band as purveyors of dark, baritone-led post-rock. References to Black Heart Procession, Mogwai and Sigur Ros set the mood, with producer Ken Thomas noted.
