Pre-concert anecdote: my friend wants weed, he doesn't give a damn about the Teatro. He wants the weed and with this thought, he enters the Nuvolari Park in Cuneo. We grab a beer and listen to two or three songs by Ruggine, who are quite talented... It's a pity there are so few people interested...

...While wandering around with double malt beers in hand, my companion spots the "pusher" (a sort of Alborosie gone wrong) and they sneak off somewhere I don't know. Meanwhile, there's movement on stage. I position myself a bit off to the side because it's already impossible to find a spot by the barriers. The audience comprises the usual "concert faces" (always interesting nonetheless), except for a metalhead in a Dream Theater shirt (who will mysteriously prove to know every word of the lyrics by heart (!))...

I admit to having listened to the album a little... Consequently, I don't remember all the songs played...

Favero steps onto the stage and with his bass crafts a sonic tapestry that ignites the first ovations. The lights come on. The other musicians take their places, and the first song starts... The beginning isn't much, the atmosphere still needs to be created, it takes "Vita mia" to transform the four into the Teatro degli Orrori... Finally, I hear what I expected and wanted to hear: Capovilla has a non-low alcohol level in his body, staggers while screaming like a madman, and when no one expects it, throws himself into the crowd. Favero is an amazing bassist. Gionata Mirai churns out endless riffs. Valente behind that skimpy drum set dictates (and makes the rhythm section dictate) both the fun and the chaos...

I'm jolted by the mosh pit as soon as I throw myself into the heart of the crowd... I explode with "Il Turbamento della Gelosia" and "Compagna Teresa", I reconcile during "La Canzone di Tom", where Capovilla bares his most sentimental soul... The songs follow one another without pauses... The pace is more than frenetic. At one point, I find my friend in the middle of the mosh pit, half-dazed, slurring with incense-scented breath: << Madddò, paccano eh quess-i! >>... Before the encores, it's time for interaction with the audience and it's here that I realize that between them and the band there's a kind of animalistic passionate love, in the stage diving Capovilla has to tear himself away from the arms that hold him to return to the stage... No one wants him to leave... It ends with "Lezioni di Musica" and a new piece... Another dive from the stage and a noise finale. Favero and Mirai leave the stage, and Valente remains, letting us continue to headbang with an excellent drum solo...

Now the weed my friend bought is just right... Only now though...
