After the first rather poor review of the superb Judas Priest, we return hoping to do better with the review of an almost certainly unknown album like the name of the band, that is to say Icon, one of the many bands that embarked on the path of Hair Metal in those distant and beautiful '80s in which I wish I had been there too.

But let's move on to the 1984 album with the tracklist:

1) Rock on through the night = very nice as a start, quite inspired but the best of the album is yet to come.

2) Killer machine = a good, typically Hair Metal song and very catchy.

3) On your feet = the album's core song for which a simple but pleasant video was made overall.

4) World war = Beautiful song with a very catchy chorus and very heavy for the genre.

5) Hot desert night = Another great little piece within the album, perhaps my favorite song on the album, overall a simple song but turns out to be very pleasant for the listener.

The second part of the album includes tracks like Under my gun, Iconoclast, Rock and roll maniac, I'm alive and It's up to you, also enjoyable and very catchy perhaps a little less inspired than the first tracks, but that's fine.

As I said, this band is unknown to most listeners, but I say it truly with all my heart, look for this album, it's really great for those who love this musical genre, you won't be disappointed INDEED!

HAPPY LISTENING EVERYONE! I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
