I Barritas are described as a Sardinian Beat Cabaret group. They released Sardegna Mia (now hard to find) and a short-lived run that produced cult interest among Italian Beat fans.

The review notes the group was short-lived; the Salis brothers left to form 'Salis e Salis' and later 'Salis' (turning to prog/folk). Benito Urgu continued a career as a comedian. The album 'Messa Per I Giovani' was reissued on CD in 2005 by DUCK RECORD.

I Barrittas are presented as a Sardinian Beat Cabaret group. The album Sardegna Mia is uneven: a few memorable tracks (Gambale Twist, Filo Di Seta) lift an otherwise so-so record. The band was short-lived and members later moved to other projects.
