"We are proud to present the debut tape of new danish noise duo Hvide Nætter, which is the first release on a new copenhagen based experimental label Blodrøde Floder. The tape offers 20 minutes of cold electronics, field recordings and synthesizers. For ordering, information or contact, visit www.blodrodefloder.dk. Thank you"
White Nights, this is the name chosen by the Copenhagen duo that offers a mix of electronics, noise, and Dostoevsky, of which the four tracks of Massernes Fremdrift are significantly impregnated. Caustic and essential atmospheres, decidedly in line with the parallel grooves traced by projects such as Cremation Lily and Croatian Amor, which could constitute the ideal alternative OST of Murnau’s “Nosferatu”, or of one of the early 1900s black and white silent author shorts (well yes, before stating it, I listened to them superimposed on the projection of “El Hotel Electrico”, by Segundo de Chomón).
Insomniac and Kafkaesque (I hope this does not offend them), the motifs of this audiotape lasting a metro journey, recorded by Blodrøde Floder in a very limited number of copies, flow dense and suspended in nothingness, absorbed as necessary for anyone who listens to it, aware that no more than thirty living beings (and not) will reach their nocturnal sound lands. I am among them, and I recommend this mini album to those who, rather than listening to it, love to immerse themselves in music, expecting never to emerge from it again.
