The Profile

Hoover was an American post-hardcore/emo band formed in Washington, D.C., in 1992. They released the influential album The Lurid Traversal of Route 7 on Dischord Records in 1994, noted for taut rhythms, distressed vocals, and dynamic shifts. The group became a touchstone in the D.C. post-hardcore/emo scene.
