THE REVIEW

"Pearl Mystic," a garden of delights for explorers of psychedelic spaces.

Didn't appreciate the turn of the latest Black Angels? Loved "Dead Magik" by Dead Skeletons? Orphans of Spaceman 3, this album is for you.

Don't be fooled by the cover, the quintet from Leeds delivers one of the best works of modern, acidic, spatial psychedelia of recent times.

Space rock and the exploits of early '90s bands like Loop, Spaceman3 create a deadly fuel for noisy journeys into lands with unknown horizons.

Acidic Hawkwind led by an Iggy Pop in a spacesuit in "Form & Function"

Brian Jonestown Massacre launched into orbit in "In Our Time."

The Stooges on the Enterprise at the edge of a black hole in "Preservation."

The Spaceman 3 are evoked in the lysergic "Since WE have Chanced" and "What We Talk About."

A lively journey among sidereal keyboards and fiery wah-wah guitars that at any moment risk blowing up the splendid spaceship that the Hookworms have created for us who wish to spend vacations on the amber beaches of a distant planet.
