Three heartfelt, brief songs that make this mini a shooting star of the music scene: beautiful because it's ephemeral, ephemeral because it's beautiful.
It opens with "Heartache Every Moment", with fast, harmonious tones, given by a refined bass that accompanies and duets with a deep, almost weary voice. A pulsating but cold keyboard plays with an imperceptible guitar painting everything in winter shades. Delicate as snowflakes, the notes of "Close To The Flame" soar in the air... a seductive and cold melody, punctuated by an Argentine snare drum, unfolds over a touching, gentle Ville. The chorus is poignant, trembling like a flame dancing in the wind of a December night. An elegantly nostalgic keyboard wraps the notes in an icy veil. The last track is the acoustic reinterpretation of "Salt In Our Wounds", which with its melancholic slowness splendidly ties in with the sweetly surreal context.
