LA RECENSIONE

Ladies and gentlemen, rise and applaud! Do you like "sick" music? Here you go! Do you like messy music? Here you go! An unmissable album for lovers of experimental yet refined music, modern but with an eye on the standard. Crossroad is not an album; it's a jazz epic, a giant never sated with sounds, colors, smells, and rhythms. Crossroad is simply the magnificence of Herbie Hancock. Given to me by a friend in exchange for services rendered, it stormed into my life generating the same uproar as a fireworks show in Amsterdam on New Year's Eve (and those who have been know what I mean!). Games of intertwined melodies with rhythms now frenetic, now slow and enticing, piercing notes in the midst of repetitive chants: this is the genius (or the mental illness) of this sonic monster known to us as Herbie Hancock. Stratospheric.
