The title doesn't leave much to the imagination. It's a collection of tracks from the first five albums of Herb Alpert, a Californian trumpeter with a love for Latin sounds, specifically Chicano.
For easy listening enthusiasts, it will be a real treat, a short and relaxing journey on the roads of jazz and pop, infused with Mexican spices (but bought in a Los Angeles department store). In short, this work goes down our auditory canals just like an iced lemonade would on these scorching August days.
