Do you remember the good old days when GTA San Andreas was considered a game beyond limits for what it could offer us? Well, if you want to enjoy this game, you need to try to get into that mindset because beyond the expectations that the cover might give, this 'shooter' is a blast. The size of the map and the extensions that the editor was able to provide come from very meticulous and effective work that (rest assured) will entertain you even after you’ve completed the missions.

Who are you? Rico Rodriguez, and you work for a covert agency in Panau, an archipelago contested by the most powerful nations in the world for the vast amount of oil hidden beneath the many and very high mountains that, in one way or another, you will always manage to glimpse. Isn’t it enough for you to work secretly in an ever-mysterious atmosphere fueled by suitable music for every situation? No problem, when you want to have fun, you will only have the embarrassment of choice for the great opportunities you can exploit: airports (almost 20, including many 'heliports'), ports, mysterious villages, fortresses, barracks, temples, and a large island shrouded in mystery and topped with transmission towers, occupied by old melancholic Japanese from World War 2 whom you will confront. Over 100 villages and a great metropolis are well scattered across the map to guarantee players fun, curiosity, but above all, stimulation.

Unfortunately, however, 'Just Cause 2' loses out to GTA San Andreas when comparing the number of missions: the former has over 100, while this has at most 50, and only 6 will be decisive in finishing the story, which in my view is slightly convoluted. So, you run the risk of finishing without having discovered everything, a mistake I fell into. So if you want to listen to my advice, alternate moments dedicated to advancing the plot with periods of leisure that will always pique your interest with what will appear before you (or behind... who knows). Is it worth buying this game? Certainly. Don't be discouraged by the fact that it’s a bit old: it's a video game that goes beyond these preliminary criteria. I too was skeptical about the cost (which sometimes says it all) and the release date, but by playing, I realized I had struck a good deal and satisfied my tastes, considering also that if you like games of this genre, you will have many various types of weapons at your disposal, which is not insignificant. Furthermore, the good work done here will have a sequel as they are already developing the third part ('Just Cause 3') and a movie based on the video game itself, which will star the great Antonio Banderas.
