Musical Group

English progressive rock band from the Canterbury scene, originally active 1972–1975. Core members included Richard Sinclair, Phil Miller, Pip Pyle and Dave Stewart. Best known for the studio albums Hatfield & The North (self-titled) and The Rotters' Club.

Associated with the Canterbury scene and noted for a blend of jazz-rock, whimsical arrangements and melodic songwriting. Robert Wyatt contributed guest vocals on recordings; the group released two highly regarded studio albums in the mid-1970s.
