Alert! The war sirens are blaring, the lethal gas spreads!
Ladies and gentlemen, here are the Hastighed! A new Roman Thrash/Black formation. 4 very young individuals who know what they're doing!
Line-up:
Edoardo Zanetti: Vocals
Tommaso Cenci: Bass and backing vocals
Michelangelo Buccolini: Guitar and backing vocals
Ovidio Preja: Drums
Nothing innovative or sophisticated, just raw extreme Thrash with a Teutonic sound, reminiscent of bands like Protector, Desaster, Kreator, Sodom, and others in this vein.
Only 5 tracks capable of breaking through the soul and body, starting with "Zyklon B", where Edoardo's voice stands out, almost an extreme version of Schmier's vocals from Destruction, alternating between deep voices and shrill highs, Edoardo's voice is supported by Tommaso's, rough, hoarse, and dirty, almost like his bass, following in the footsteps of his idol Cronos. Michelangelo astonishes with his six-string, notable for his high-level technique through his blazing solos/slices. The last one we have to analyze is Ovidio behind the skins: incredibly fast, never having taken drum lessons, he is scarily at ease both in the classic tupa-tupa and in Blast-Beat, and in slower, more measured rhythms (see the track "War").
Both for nationality and for the genre offered, they are somewhat like the grandchildren of Necrodeath, harvesting the fruits planted by their grandfather two decades earlier.
What else to say? Simply that I hope this talented quartet of Thrashers (but above all friends) manages to break through and find a label willing to produce them!
