happyorangeballoon is the project of Danilo Romeo, begun in 2007. The second LP, 'unique' (released October 14th, 2017 according to the review), was conceived, written and produced by Romeo; collaborators on the record include Rob Wheatley, Nick Munt and vocalist Fiona Harmon. Mark Kramer handled mastering. Parts of 'unique' originated as sound installations for Swedish artist Hawk Alfredson's New York exhibition. The self-titled debut LP was released in 2012.
