The music of Kon B brings to mind the blurred, abstract frames of Derek Jarman's visions. Sounds like images superimposed in a continuous dissolve over other sounds, an undefinable body from which alien yet familiar images/sounds emerge, with meanings only seemingly cryptic. Shreds of layered music, shards of instruments, of melodic phrases merely hinted at, whose goal is not to create a coherent melodic body, but to give life to a flow without a precise identity reference, a precise term of comparison.

A flow of sounds born from the sensitivity of Czech sonic manipulators and Japanese deities. A magic lamp where imagination is the absolute mistress. In dreamlike figures, one can recognize only silhouettes of characters in a continuous search for the unreal in abstract soundscapes. A map of the Land of Dreams that few have only peeked at. It brings to mind a gentle Steven Stapleton far from his maniacal obsessions. The esoteric environmental abstractions of Coil, the sound of the soul of their mourned and beloved friend.

Alien, disordered harmonies, violas, string rubbings, beats, echoes, reverbs, folk songs of sirens from the Land of the Rising Sun, atonal, contemporary, neo-classical, electronic music, human presences. Presences. Sonic autism, a puzzle of vibrations, elusive randomness, disorder, an art brut sound fresco. Yet behind this theater of the absurd lies pure art, a great intelligence, and beyond intelligence dwells only imagination. And Art

The music that does not tell but suggests, imagines, dreams, is simply Art
