There are albums that are destined to become unique masterpieces, works cultivated with genuine passion by individuals who, at a specific moment in their lives, decide to join forces to write what, in a certain way, will be "History".

"Livin' Proof" by Group Home fully belongs in this category.

New York, the year is 1995 and Hip Hop is living through what is probably, indeed certainly, the best period of its young and intense history, and it's right here that from the collaboration of Group Home, namely Melachi The Nutcracker and Lil Dap (already members of the renowned Gang Starr Foundation) with that legend known as Chris Martin aka Dj Premier, this album is born, destined to remain among the classics of the genre.

"Livin' Proof" is Rap conceived in its purest form and conception, within its thirteen tracks are encapsulated all the classic elements that, skillfully mixed by the holy hands of Premier, create atmospheres and moments essential for every B-Boy or, in any case, any true Hip Hop lover.

The work done by Primo is something astounding, it's a heavyweight, there's no debate, his beats push to the maximum and keep the level of the album exceptionally high, making you often cry out for a miracle. His thick drums, his piano loops, his samples, blend perfectly with the style of the two MCs, Melachi precise and direct in closing the rhymes, Lil Dap with a piercing voice and a less rhythmic rap but equally effective. The single is the Title-Track, where Premier expresses the best of himself, crafting a massive and gritty base, a perfect canvas for the lyrical prowess of the two partners. Unmissable.

Practically every track is a small masterpiece. "Serious Rap Shit" is the track produced by Guru, in which he also appears as an MC, together with Big Shug, with a breathtaking verse, in the style of "Lesson of STYLE". Try to let yourself be carried away by the warmth of "Suspended In Time", the super chill vibe of "Up Against The Wall", featured in Low Budget Mix version or in the wonderful Gataway Car Mix, the intense "The Realness", with the featuring of Smiley and Jack The Ripper (there's street in this track, extremely powerful) or the historic "Supa Star", one of the most beautiful beats ever, and you'll embark on a one-way journey into true Hip Hop, 100% style, 0 nonsense. An album that absolutely cannot be missing from the discography of every Rap enthusiast, but which I also feel compelled to recommend to those who are often skeptical of a genre too often unfairly underestimated, also due to greedy individuals absorbed in speculating on the name of a "modern art" born with the intent to disseminate healthy values and principles.

To All The Real People In The Struggle......!!!

Take care of yourselves, get "Livin' Proof".

Sayin' "Shortie go head kick it with your fly ass rap"
Yo I'm rappin' for my niggas I never see again
360 degrees as the world still revolve
Problems still unsolved but my faith is still in God

Melachi the Nutcracker:

Melachi:
A-yo brain cells bust when I flow with the rough touch
Opponents that step up, get fucked up
Gangsta style buckwild I'm livin' trife
To be percise yo I kill a fuckin' mic

I'm bustin' out rhymes I'm not pullin' triggers
I'm like a prowler stalkin' my victims at night
I leave a blood sight when I get uptight
Yeah so now that you know

'95 is yours 2000 is mine

Lil' Dap:

Yo son chill let me concentrate on this bill
Now these snakes on the street tryin' to kill these rap
