Formed in Verona in 1996, Ground Control evolved from an '80s thrash cover band into a full metal band. Line-up on the reviewed album includes Alessio Garavello (vocals, guitars), Fabio Cavallaro (guitars), Giovanni Raddi (bass) and Fabio Perini (drums).

Debut full-length album 'Insanity' praised for US-style thrash influences and technical riffing. Recorded at Remaster Studios (Vicenza), supervised by Nick Savio and Tony Fontò; mastered by Karl Groom. Released on Punishment 18 Records. Includes a cover of Anthrax's 'Metal Thrashing Mad'.
