After ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! lands in stores, the second chapter of the trilogy by Green Day. The album opens with "See You Tonight", a mini-acoustic song lasting just one minute. The following track is "Fuck Time", perhaps the best of the entire album: it very much resembles '50s rock 'n' roll, complete with a crazy solo. The third track is "Stop When The Red Lights Flash", named after the phrase sung in "Oh Love"; a typical song with three chords and energetic drums. "Lazy Bones" also doesn't disappoint: catchy and melancholic, with a compelling and irresistible chorus. The next song is "Wild One", a filler teenage ballad. The sixth is "Makeout Party" which, along with "Fuck Time", is among the best songs of the entire trilogy. "Stray Heart", released as a single, like all the songs on the album, reminds of '50s rock 'n' roll: guitars with low distortion and a set voice. The following track, "Ashley", is a punk rock song with a catchy and immediate chorus that gets stuck in your head and won't leave. The ninth song, "Baby Eyes", perhaps the best on the album, starts with a threatening scream and a guitar riff much less radio-friendly than the others. The album continues with "Lady Cobra", short in duration, in full Green Day style. The eleventh track, the most talked-about, is "Nightlife", made in collaboration with Monica Painter, has a completely rap musical base that, in my opinion, makes ¡Dos! even more rebellious and raw. The penultimate, "Wow! That's Loud" is a folk tarantella rendered pop-punk, with a good chorus and the right energy. The last song, "Amy", is dedicated to the late singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away in July 2011. This song features only Billie Joe Armstrong's voice and an acoustic guitar take center stage, which doesn't make this song suitable to close a Green Day album. Below are the ratings of the individual songs:

See You Tonight:6

Fuck Time:9

Stop When The Red Lights Flash:8

Lazy Bones:9

Wild One:7-

Makeout Party:9.5

Stray Heart:8.5

OVERALL RATING:8

FINAL JUDGMENT: DOS is certainly the best of the entire trilogy.

 This album is embarrassingly lackluster.

It’s impossible to recognize Green Day, in whatever form we knew them in the past.
