The Profile

Gotye is the stage name of Belgian-Australian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Wouter De Backer. He released Boardface (2003), Like Drawing Blood (2006), and Making Mirrors (2011), the last featuring the worldwide hit Somebody That I Used to Know (with Kimbra). Known for sample-based production and inventive percussion, he’s also a member of The Basics.
