LA RECENSIONE

Here I am to share the emotions that a band like God Is An Astronaut was able to give me last night at the "Circolo Degli Artisti" in Rome in a concert that was nothing short of devastating.

A year after their last tour, the band is back "on the road" to celebrate their 10-year career, and I must admit, I could never have imagined so many people eager to hear their favorites live... the venue was packed to the brim!!

A spine-tingling start as only they know how to do, they gifted everyone present an evening with dreamlike atmospheres, enhanced by the beautiful suggestive images flowing on the big screen behind them. The first two tracks were dreamy and at times melancholic (the second terribly reminded me of the beautiful song "Untitled 3 by Sigur Ros) and then increased in intensity with the beautiful "Echoes," a track from their album "God Is An Astronaut" where they really started to warm the hearts of the people in a powerful and precise way.

The audience was divided between composed ecstasy and delirium in motion, illuminated by wonderful light shows that increased heartbeats due to the emotion they provoked; not even the not-so-great sound quality of the system (the bass regulation was excessive and often "covered" the sweeter melodies) stopped the energy of G.I.A.A who moved in time with the drums as if synchronized with each other.

The finale was ever-increasing until reaching the last track, dedicated to their fans "Route 666" full of energy and electronic cues of the highest quality where the band closed the concert in the best possible way.

Before leaving, they wanted to immortalize the happiness of those present with a souvenir photo of "hands in the air" for their official Facebook page, bidding farewell with the usual greetings and thanks, hoping to return soon... a hope shared by all of us, of course!

Thank you God...!
