Hello everyone! Finally, a great offering (as usual) from beloved England.

Ladies and gentlemen, "Go Home Production"! Behind this moniker hides a brilliant DJ/producer/remixer named Mark Vidler; a truly explosive mind. And if someone has already heard him "in action," they know exactly what I'm referring to.

His project consists practically of a continuous "sonic" overlay; try to imagine the vocals of the Beatles over the music of Queen, Madonna's voice over the sounds of the Sex Pistols, or even better, Jim Morrison singing his "Riders On The Storm" over the base of Blondie's "Rapture". Up until now, many of you might say, "so what? where's the novelty?"
In practice, there is none until it is heard, but I can assure you that the effect is practically electrifying!!!

For example, it's unimaginable how a classic like "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye can be reborn over the base of "Karma Police" by Radiohead, it really seems like they were written and composed for each other. In short, truly not a bad work and especially a really interesting listen, especially in a time where (unfortunately) records truly worth noting are listened to very rarely.
So, in the time of revivals, let's enjoy the works of GHP that at least can seem new and entertaining. The only downside, however, is that the material is hard to find on CD, in fact (with the exception of some e.p.s) almost all of GHP's works are printed on 7" and 12" and only sold in stores specialized for DJs. The positive note instead is that a large portion of these are available as mp3 on their website, downloadable for free!

At this point, why waste time continuing to read this review? Go ahead, everyone check out their website and listen to the available tracks. Cheers to all.
