“Gloss”, translated into English, is the lip gloss that good girls always stick in their bag for special occasions; but if you put a period after each letter it becomes G.L.O.S.S. and instead this is the acronym that indicates girls living outside a crappy society, the name chosen by three bad girls who don't keep lip gloss in their bag and who came together in Olympia, Washington, to play hardcore punk.

They support a heap of causes, against racists and fascists of all sorts, against discrimination of every possible and imaginable kind, obviously hardcore feminists and to top it off, they're also vegan; not to mention the transgender singer.

They reflect the hardcore punk with the bad manners of the old school, in the style of Teen Idles, State Of Alert, and Minor Threat, only with much more tension, at the limits of paroxysm.

They release a demo and the single «Trans Day of Revenge», totaling 10 songs in less than 15 minutes of totally disorganized chaos; when they perform live, however, they go all out and stretch it to about 20 minutes, just because between songs they can't resist coming out with a whole series of proclamations supporting the causes they care about.

All self-produced, because nobody who minds the business can give space to such people.

To be honest, Epitaph tried to sign them: Brett– the guitarist of Bad Religion, who is also the head of that establishment – summons them to his office, says he's been following them for a while and is impressed by their way of doing things, he wants to work with them and puts $50,000 in front of them; they think for a second because all that money is as essential as bread for their causes; then they remember that Epitaph has ties with Warner Bros and since they don't like the idea of enriching certain people, they get up, say goodbye, and leave, leaving the $50,000 on Brett's desk.

A few months later, they dissolve the band because it's almost becoming a serious and regular thing and that's not good, but ready to start again from less than the zero they have built, each following their own path.

For certain bad girls, only maximum respect, regardless of what they play.

The demo and «Trans Day of Revenge» can be freely obtained on YouTube and Bandcamp; better on Bandcamp, because there's also the possibility of supporting the (former) band, who knows, maybe they can gather those $50,000 left lightly on Brett's desk.
