Gli Opera

Formed in 1975 in Sicily by Filiberto Ricciardi after the dissolution of the Gens, Gli Opera released a series of singles (about twenty) rather than a full studio album. The group had festival appearances (Festivalbar, Sanremo 1976) and is best known for piano-led ballads such as "Stelle su di noi"; a later, less successful move toward prog preceded the band's end around 1981.
