THE REVIEW

This review couldn't be missing among my favorites, ladies and gentlemen, The Voice Of Rock, Mr. Glenn Hughes.
In my opinion, this album ranks among the best of those released by Hughes as a solo artist.
Supported by an enviable line-up composed of the trusted JJ Marshall and Jeff Kollman on guitars, Ed Roth on keyboards, with contributions in two tracks from Chad Smith on drums (RHCP) and the maestro Steve Vai on guitar, this album presents itself as a perfect hard-rock record in seventies style.
Hammond, granite drums, gritty guitars, and a voice that alone would carry the pieces are the characteristics of an album that track after track knows how to leave nothing but the desire to listen to it once more...

Unmissable for enthusiasts of the genre and an excellent potential start for those who might not yet know this character who still makes the stage tremble and hearts throb despite his venerable age of over 50 years.

The Voice of Rock has the ability to effortlessly switch from more hard rock and driven pieces to others more subdued.

Songs In The Key Of Rock seems to have stood the test of time well, thanks to meticulously crafted tracks and very refined musical choices.
