Ah…. Finally a great album of pure pornogoregrind worth its salt. The mastermind behind the project, doing everything, is the transgender Amygirlcock, whom we see here handling vocals, guitar, bass, and the programming of the drum machine and the playful samples. As I was saying, this is a really well-made record because it harks back to bands from the past that made pornogrind history, such as Gut and Cock and Ball Torture. The vocals are truly fantastic—a wild, swine-like growl that blends perfectly with the groovier, catchier, and heavier elements of this fantastic platter's music. During its almost 18-minute runtime, “Hot Trans Summer” flows by powerfully and quickly—here we're talking about extreme underground, and the album hits hard from start to finish.
Amygirlcock is a badass doll, and with this record she throws it right in our faces… all I can do is enjoy it and hit play on the player again. Approved!
