In the 90s, the dance-commercial wave established itself in the flashy Italy, the Italy of Christian De Sica and Massimo Boldi films, the Italy of "Mani Pulite," of arcades, high-waisted pants, and platform shoes. The 90s started well and concluded in 1999 when the most famous Italian DJ back then, the great Gigi (flashy glasses) D'Agostino, created a masterpiece by producing a song that remains in everyone's hearts. Every time it plays on my MP3, listeners are never disappointed and instead smile at my choice. "L'amour Toujours" is not just a song; it is an anthem, as well as a complete CD full of a thousand facets, great technical uses of sound synthesis, and extensive use of the vocal distorter. An absolute masterpiece marked those years, much maligned and criticized by experts, but now, just look where we are... in a moment of complete disarray where house music holds the greatest power, and where music born in gay clubs in America (a country of idiots) in the early 90s… yet in America, for some reason, they call Gigi Dag to DJ at clubs... let's reevaluate a bit... I hope this cold wave of house disappears soon so we can see a bit of hardcore or dance in clubs again, delighting us with its saccharine aftertaste... thank you for listening...
