GIANNUTRI - Tropical Adventures

Giannutri is the project of Luca Zaminga and Edoardo Scalco, a power duo with an extremely creative and deep nature.

In January 2018, their first album Tropical Adventures was released, consisting of 12 tracks connected by a single common thread: the journey.

The journey of Gloria and her rabbit Rey through the various theaters of the south.

“A casual and inattentive journey, unraveling through evocative places. A journey more healing than exploratory, lived among depressions, imbalances, and pills; as per the script, it follows a trail of half-finished loves.

Amidst it all, there is a rabbit that only wants to return to its picnics in the countryside.”

Thus the two describe their debut album.

It all starts when Luca, during a lazy period, writes a dozen tracks on which Edoardo decides to collaborate, both in the lyrics and in the arrangements. A few years later, their first work emerges with a precise thematic direction: the world to the south.

The tracks convey a sound study focused on this southern concept, among pieces that combine samba and pop, tropical jazz-fusion pieces, and the almost constant presence of frantic percussion that entices one to be captured by the dancing atmosphere.

All developed with extremely accurate stylistic relevance and impeccable technical ability.
