THE REVIEW

The song that gives the title to this album is beautiful, the classic three minutes of perfection. A flash in the eyes you look for and no longer find. How many situations or even entire lives can be defined this way. How many love stories or terrible adventures become, in the analysis of our past, just flashes of a photograph. And the very Nordic loneliness described in "Polvere di gesso", this house that seems to be the manifesto of a life where not much happens, but nevertheless "reactive": Every morning I listen to the dawn and in the evening the sunset and all the noise it makes, what do you think? And the rarefied atmosphere of "Amanti di Roma", a breath of nocturnal love spread through the streets of the metropolis the morning after. Another masterpiece is, in my opinion, "La tua voce", not so much for the song itself but for the little verse "take me away from here" applicable to many situations we are uncomfortable with but have to endure anyway. How many times have you pleaded to a friend or your partner to take me away from here?

Now I don't want you to think that the general feeling that emerges is a sort of prelude to your eventual suicide because it is not like that, I am not Nordic, I don't know what the daily misty atmospheres the author describes are, I live almost all year on the street, but for this reason, I don't see myself in these situations that embrace a moment and become songs. By getting this album you are giving yourself a huge gift. All the people to whom I have recommended it, even lovers of completely different musical genres, have appreciated this little masterpiece. Speaking of the musical genre, it is not just a sad little guitar accompanying a beautiful voice, there is much more, from jazz to the most refined singer-songwriter style. Also a tribute to France, the land that discovered him, with the piece "Petite Reine".
