American jazz collaboration between baritone saxophonist Gerry Mulligan and trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker, central to the West Coast cool jazz sound. First joined in Mulligan’s pianoless quartet (1952–1953), reunited for Reunion (1957), and again for The Carnegie Hall Concert in the mid-1970s.
