George Michael's album released at the beginning of the millennium is, as the title suggests, a collection of the most beautiful songs from the century we have just left behind. Many of these songs, thanks to his delicate and almost angelic voice, become even more beautiful than the original versions.

The songs are very romantic and charming, both melodically and lyrically. The only songs with somewhat poor lyrics are the beautiful (melodically speaking) Brother Can You Spare a Dime and My Baby Just Cares For Me (which I find unlistenable).

An exciting CD, perhaps a little short, but still worth the money spent.

Tracklist Lyrics and Videos

01   Brother Can You Spare a Dime (04:22)

02   Roxanne (04:11)

Roxanne
You don't have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don't have to sell your body to the night

Roxanne
You don't have to wear that dress tonight
Walk the streets for money
You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right

Roxanne
You don't have to put on the red light

I loved you since i knew you
I wouldn't talk down to you
I have to tell you just how i feel
I won't share you with another boy
I know my mind is made up
So put away your make up
Told you once i won't tell you again
It's a bad way

Roxanne
You don't have to put on the red light
Roxanne
You don't have to put on the red light
