My review is coming very late. This group of quirky individuals partly from the Milan hinterland and partly from the outskirts of Trento has disbanded.
Like many other small realities of the often overlooked Italian music underground, they didn’t make it. And I assure you it's such a shame.
The combo, led by the exuberance of the singer-dancer Yuri Beretta, operates in musical territories reminiscent of 80s pop. Pop that has absorbed the teachings of the greats of Italian melody, Alberto Camerini above all, reworking them with style in a way that to call original is an understatement.
A completely personal and wonderfully freakish view of the world and human relationships forms the plot of the 14 stories that make up this very unique work. I loved them from the first listen, and over time I couldn’t do without this “Fluori” anymore.
For all those people who know how to get lost in their living room, whose car keys seem to challenge them every day in an exhausting treasure hunt. For us incurable, quirky independent thinkers.
"You know I am transparent but if you want to paint me do not do it just on the outside. Because we are alone and have nothing in our heads, but we have big suns. But how vast our hearts are."
To create genius ideas, you just need to be ingenious, there's no need to be a genius. I love them, "I am the genius stolen from a demented musician, I am all my nothing."
