Gaznevada are a Bologna-based new wave/post-punk group active from the late 1970s into the 1980s. They combined punk energy with synths and sax, released Sick Soundtrack (1980) and the mini-LP Dressed To Kill (1981), and moved toward electro-pop/dance by Psicopatico Party (1983).

Originating in Bologna's late-1970s scene (the Traumfabrik), Gaznevada released a self-produced cassette for Harpo's Bazar in 1979; their debut LP Sick Soundtrack (1980) and the 1981 mini-LP Dressed To Kill are frequently cited in reviews. Members used stage names (examples in reviews: Bat Matic, Andy Nevada, Chainsaw Sally, E-Robert Squibb, Billy Blade). Oderso Rubini is named as a producer on later releases. They recorded a reinterpretation/cover of The Doors' "When The Music Is Over"; their 1983 Psicopatico Party shows a shift to more commercial/electro-pop and dance sounds. They are tied to the Bologna cultural milieu around DAMS and the Traumfabrik (Pazienza, Scozzari, etc.).
