RareNoise has decided to involve Gaudi in a unique musical challenge: to create a new album using the label’s catalog as his orchestra. Why all this? Because Gaudi has always pursued a musical path aimed at dissolving barriers between genres. Driven by this conceptual affinity, the label decided to give the renowned composer the keys to its archives.

The result was an EP of two tracks available both in 10” vinyl and digital format. The first manifestation of the innovative collaboration between Gaudi and RareNoise.

The EP opens with “30Hz Dub Prelude,” a track woven for the bass of Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree) and the drums of Ted Parsons (Killing Joke). Meanwhile, the more dreamlike "Electronic Impromptu in E-flat Minor” is represented by the union of Masami Akita’s (Merzbow) textures with Eraldo Bernocchi’s wavering guitars. This collaboration will reach its peak with the release of the album “Magnetic” in 2017.
