Gary Barlow (born 20 January 1971) is an English singer, songwriter and lead singer of Take That; he launched a solo career including the 1997 album Open Road and rejoined Take That in 2005.

Barlow is the principal songwriter of Take That and wrote hits including "Back for Good". His solo single "Forever Love" reached number one. He has songwriting royalties and was involved in a widely reported press rivalry with Robbie Williams; he participated in Take That's 2005 reunion.
