LA RECENSIONE

Line-Up:

One of the many bands that between the 80s and 90s released an album, obviously thrash... otherwise, I wouldn’t have reviewed it! This is and remains a great album. It remains so because, after so many years, it still has a great freshness and aggressiveness.

Contents:
After listening to it, it’s easy to draw comparisons with contemporaries from the Bay Area. Very close to Vio-Lence, even though they come from Texas! This album is pure aggression! A fabulous Thrasher that flows from start to finish without a moment of respite, BOOM 8)! However, a lot of riffs will stick in your head, reminding you that the two guys on guitars did a great job.

The music is quite original: straightforward and compulsive moments blend perfectly. The solos are of Slayer-esque derivation but do not sound copied at all and are faaaast! Great mention for the drummer who works magnificently and with sometimes unusual rhythms. The bass is hard to pinpoint and remains somewhat in the background...

NB: The singer sounds a lot like Sean Killian from Vio-Lence (at times), you’ve been warned! To me, he’s great, but degustibus...

How it sounds (production):
Unfortunately, I don’t think they had much to spend, and you can tell! However, a reissue has recently been released that is surely remastered. Still very similar to works of that era.
