LA RECENSIONE

Just seen. I liked it. Overall, I say, and I'm sure it was in its favor that I know Forte dei Marmi for better or worse. Here, they wanted to portray it as a village for the rich and right-wing (obviously, as usual, making all the bad guys and the corrupt ones on the right, and the vices, and those who have no pity for the poor). Yet, despite Muccino's usual deference to the left and political correctness, I liked it. The plot, the suspense, the cinematography. I liked the actors, almost all of them. Certainly not Maya Sansa, who just can’t pull off the Tuscan accent! She aspirates all the "c"s even when no Tuscan would do so. She certainly doesn't speak like someone from Versilia but, I swear, not even like a Tuscan... But really Muccino, didn't you notice how ridiculous she was? Oh well, well ... Anyway, apart from Sansa, whom I never like and I always wonder how they get her work, the rest is very enjoyable. Thanks for the evening!
